Seed Raising Mix is premium blend which contains a base of bark fines, peat and pumice, combined with a carefully formulated mix of fertilisers, wetting agent and fungicide to give your seedlings the best possible start.

How to use Seed Raising Mix

  • Fill your container with seed raising mix to 1cm below the top.

  • Water sparingly, to moisten the mix.

  • Evenly spread your seeds over the surface of the mix.

  • Cover the seeds with mix to a depth not more than twice the thickness of the seed. Just press very fine seeds into the surface.

  • Cover your container with glass and paper to maintain an even moisture and temperature for germination.
